The Twilights – 9.50. The rare 1968 lost clip.
Posted by Bono on September 30, 2010
The Twilights from the shelved pilot program “Once Upon A Twilight”. The only clip ever made of “9.50″ their 1967 (March) hit and possibly not seen before now. A Terry Britten composition cited by Vanda and Young as an inspiration for their Easybeats hit “Friday on My Mind.” It’s in Gumnut Gully seen at the close of the clip where the Twilights are incorrectly sent to perform that the band meets pop star Ronnie Burns acting as an up and coming singer.
