Great Australian rocker Stevie Wright’s biggest hit, still an Aussie Rock Anthem. We have a crack at it! The band performing this (Jon Dory) broke up not long ago, but it features me on lead guitar, one of my best mates Bernie Binns on vocals, Mike “Ratty” Hirsh on drums, and Adam “Kool” Phillips on bass.
www.longgoneloser.com Ok, so this isn’t 100% an Aussie band but it does feature the vocal talents of Randy Reimann from Massappeal and it was recorded in Sydney when UK skatepunks, The Stupids, toured around Australia with The Hard-Ons. I feel that’s enough to justify it being included in the Aussie Rock Jukebox. This was released on the ‘No Cheese!’ tour 10″ vinyl by Waterfront Records in 1988. This cover of the Minor Threat classic tune is intense. Well played!
