Obituary: Malcolm McLaren, 1946-2010

In an eerie coincidence, just days before Malcolm McLaren? S death on 8 April, I had read about his adventures with tribal popsters Bow Wow Wow in Simon Reynolds? excellent post-punk history Rip It Up And Start Again. Reynolds is very reminiscent of McLaren? S life-after-Pistols in a number of anecdotes that are equally funny, frightening and amusing. A number of adjectives can be applied McLaren, but certainly isn boring? T one of them. He spent his whole creative life railing AGAI. . .
